Teaching Support Program exceeds goals in first two years

Congratulations to the many Ohio State faculty who have participated in UITL’s Teaching Support Program (TSP) in the past two years. More than 3,500 full- and part-time faculty have completed at least one component of the TSP, making it one of the most comprehensive teaching excellence programs in higher education.

Approximately 83% of full-time faculty in undergraduate-serving colleges have participated in the TSP, exceeding the university's 70% goal.

“We are so grateful that so many faculty committed themselves to this important work, even at a very challenging time,” Kay Halasek, UITL director, told Ohio State News. “By applying evidence-based approaches to the classroom, our faculty are substantively enhancing their ability to help students succeed.”
