Clinical and Translational Science Institute research mentor training

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute at the University of Minnesota and its collaborating partners have developed a series of self-paced, online, professional development modules designed to prepare faculty from a range of disciplines to be effective research mentors:

  • Optimizing the Practice of Mentoring (OPM) 101: For Research Mentors of Graduate Students, Fellows, and Early-Career Faculty
  • Optimizing the Practice of Mentoring 102: For Research Mentors and Undergraduate Students
  • Enhancing Motivation Using the CARES Mentoring Model

These modules are currently available at no charge to people affiliated with the University of Minnesota and external users who create a guest account with the University.
