Educational Developers Form Group to Develop Teaching with AI Programming

During spring semester of 2023, a group of educational developers from units such as the Center for the Study and Teaching of Writing, Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning, Digital Learning, and University Libraries convened to discuss approaches to respond to questions raised by the advent of AI in higher education. Initially the group provided input into the drafting of AI: Considerations for Teaching and Learning in the Teaching and Learning Resource Center (osu.edu) and led a session at the Academy of Teaching annual conference.

At the start of summer semester 2023, additional faculty and staff were invited to join the discussion and plan for 2023-2024 programming.  The group developed several ideas for programming and resources including a workshop on Teaching and Learning with Artificial Intelligence being held September 29th from 11:00 to 12:30
