All who teach at Ohio State are invited to join the Drake Institute this December for an in-person Immersive Active Learning Workshop. During three four-hour sessions, you’ll hear about common active learning strategies, experience what it’s like to be a student in an active learning environment, explore using technology for active learning, and practice techniques with other instructors. Get a sense of which strategies work best for you, ask questions, and leave with six templates for planning specific active learning strategies for your next course.
Mark your calendar today! Four-hour sessions will be held on the Columbus campus on the following dates, with each day's content and activities building upon learning from the prior session(s).
- Wednesday, December 10
- Thursday, December 11
- Friday, December 12
Exact locations and times have not been determined—keep an eye on our Workshops and Events feed for registration updates.
