Description

This interactive workshop introduces participants to practical and responsible uses of AI in higher education, aligned with the AI Fluency Initiative. Through hands-on activities, you will explore real-world applications of AI in teaching and learning, identify opportunities for generative AI to support academic tasks, and analyze both the benefits and challenges of integrating AI into educational contexts. Participants will also learn strategies for designing effective prompts.

After this workshop participants will be able to:

  • explore applications of AI in teaching and learning contexts to build AI fluency
  • identify practical uses of generative AI for educational purposes
  • analyze opportunities and challenges AI integration in education
  • design effective prompts to generate GenAI outputs for educational tasks
