Personalized Educational Development Planning: A Drake Institute Workshop for All Who Teach

The Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning invites all who teach to explore opportunities for individual educational development to be offered during the Spring 2024 term. In this workshop, participants will hear about all programming and support opportunities available during the term and will be supported in developing personal, professional learning plans. Participants will also be provided opportunities to share questions and ideas with others around several critical and emerging educational development topics, including course design, assessment, teaching in light of AI, and more.

After this workshop participants will be able to:

  • identify professional learning opportunities in support of effective, evidence-based teaching 
  • discuss educational development topics with colleagues and staff from the Drake Institute
  • develop their own teaching professional development plan that leverages programs and services offered by the Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning
