Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Shana Sandborn

Shana Sandborn (any pronouns) is a PhD student in the Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies and is pursuing a Graduate Interdisciplinary Specialization in Disability Studies. Their research focuses on feminist media studies, particularly the visual cultures of online and offline protest spaces. As an instructor, they have taught undergraduate courses in pop culture studies and currently teach a course in film studies.

In their free time, Shana enjoys practicing with the OSU club gymnastics team and playing with their two cats, Brody and Sweetie.
