She also provides support for Drake Institute communications, including web content and the Drake Institute Digest monthly newsletter.
After earning an MEd from The Ohio State University, Amber began her career in educational publishing. She returned to Ohio State as staff in 2010, developing PreK3 curricular content for federal research grants. In 2015, she took a position in the Office of Technology and Digital Innovation, where she coordinated professional learning opportunities, served as programming chair for a large education conference, and helped launch the TLRC website and cross-unit partnership.
Amber joined the Drake Institute in 2024 to continue her efforts with the TLRC. She approaches her work with a collaborative mindset and a high standard for quality, working alongside partners to develop and maintain meaningful, user-friendly content that supports Ohio State educators.
