As Learning Content Program Manager, Amber Sherman (she/her) oversees the editorial workflows for the Teaching and Learning Resource Center (TLRC), a website of curated articles on teaching and documentation for learning technology tools.

After earning an MEd from The Ohio State University, Amber began her career in educational publishing. She returned to Ohio State as staff in 2010, developing PreK-3 curricular content for research grants in the College of Education and Human Ecology. In 2015, she moved to the Office of Technology and Digital Innovation, where she coordinated learning opportunities on technology-enhanced and online teaching, served as programming chair for a large education conference, managed an initiative to promote Active Learning Classrooms, and helped launch the TLRC website and partnership.

Amber came to the Drake Institute in 2024 to continue her efforts with the TLRC. She approaches this work with a collaborative mindset and a high standard for quality, working alongside site partners to develop and maintain meaningful, user-friendly content that supports Ohio State educators.
