Overview

The Educator Research for Medicine and the Health Sciences is a component of the Educator Development Program that prepares junior faculty with the necessary skills to be successful scholars in the field of medical education research. Participants will be equipped with skills to posit a measurable research question, implement appropriate study designs, and disseminate their research through conference presentations and manuscript publications. Educator Research for Medicine and the Health Sciences utilizes asynchronous modules prepared by content experts, monthly spotlight sessions, The College of Medicine Annual Education Symposium, and work one-on-one with an Office of Curriculum and Scholarship consultant on a medical education research project. Participants must successfully submit an IRB application for their project to complete this program.
