This workshop equips participants with a trauma-informed approach to teaching, anchored in compassion, preparedness, and accessibility. Participants will discuss the importance of trauma-informed teaching, explore effective strategies, and practice techniques to build optimism and engagement in our learning spaces.

After this workshop participants will be able to:

  • explain the importance of trauma-informed teaching
  • name signifiers of trauma among students
