By the end of this seminar, participants will have designed (or redesigned) a scaffolded writing assignment or other kinds of projects and activities for their courses.

The seminar this spring will be dividing its work online over 4 interactive sessions preceded by brief asynchronous online activities: before the weeks of March 31st, April 7th, April 14th, and April 21st, the WAC team will share informational resources and core tasks to help participants work on plan for a writing-intensive component of their teaching, whether it be an assignment, a series of course activities, or some other related project. Then, in meetings (the first online and the others in-person) on the those Mondays, participants will have an opportunity to develop their ideas with the WAC team and fellow participants from across the curriculum.

Furthermore, participants will have other ongoing opportunities to get feedback from the WAC team and their colleagues as they develop their assignment.

This is a 4-day event that will be held Mondays 10 AM-12 PM on March 31, April 7, April 14, and April 21.
