This interactive workshop introduces practical strategies for teaching with careers in mind, helping instructors make small, high-impact adjustments that better prepare students for life beyond the degree. Participants will explore approaches that help students reflect on values and skills, connect with alumni, identify and articulate transferable skills, and make meaningful use of campus career center resources. A faculty panel will share concrete examples of career-readiness practices from courses and programs across the university.
After this workshop participants will be able to:
- describe strategies to assist students with career readiness skills
- identify career readiness resources that exist at Ohio State
- implement practices that will assist students in developing skills that will prepare them for life beyond the degree
