Join us for an insightful workshop on Assessing Professionalism in Health Professions Education! During this interactive session, participants will discuss the critical role of professionalism in learner development, including definitions and effective assessment strategies. Participants will engage with current literature, exploring both the strengths and limitations of existing assessment methods. 

After this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Define Professionalism: Participants will gain a foundational understanding of professionalism, including its key components and significance in health professions education
  • Explore Assessment Strategies: Participants will learn and evaluate various strategies and tools for effectively assessing professionalism in health professions learners
  • Critique Current Literature: Participants will critically analyze the current limitations and gaps in the professionalism assessment literature, identifying areas for future research and improvement
