This session is intended for anyone who will serve in a teaching role during the upcoming academic year. Please come with a course, module, or topic in mind and plan to leave the session with a new plan for engaging your students in the learning process.

After attending the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • identify a variety of evidence-based strategies that engage students in the learning process
  • plan the integration of one or more new active learning strategies into instruction
