Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) Framework

March 28, 2022 | 12:00pm to 1:00pm
CarmenZoom

In this session, Institute consultants share a Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) Framework with participants who will be able to immediately infuse that evidence-based strategy in their courses and identify approaches to assessing its impact. TILT promotes students understanding of how they learn and enables faculty to develop transparent assignments, assessments and curricula.

Participants are only asked to arrive motivated to improve practice, and they’ll leave with a plan for effective, evidence-based change using TILT!

After this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Describe the evidence-based Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) framework.
  • Plan implementation of TILT in their own context.
  • Anticipate and overcome barriers to effective use of TILT.
  • Identify appropriate assessments to measure the effectiveness of the TILT framework.
