October 4, 2021 | 2:00pm to 3:00pm

We are excited to announce that we will be offering the Meaningful Inquiry virtual workshop again this semester. Through CarmenCanvas and Zoom, we will offer the five modules of the workshop over 5 to 6 weeks beginning on Monday, October 4. The majority of the workshop will be completed asynchronously, but there will be 5 required synchronous discussion sessions (see below for dates and times). Participants should expect to spend roughly 2-2 ½ hours, which includes the synchronous discussion, on each of the five workshop modules. We will cap participation at 12. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We will compile a waiting list, in case someone is no longer able to participate.

The CarmenCanvas course will be available beginning the week of October 4, and the first synchronous group discussion will be on Wednesday, October 13 from 2-3 PM Eastern. The other four synchronous group discussions will be held from 2-3 PM Eastern on the following Wednesdays – October 20, October 27, November 3, and November 10.

To qualify for the Meaningful Inquiry teaching endorsement through the Drake Institute, participants will need to:

  • Participate in each of the weekly synchronous group discussions,
  • Participate in each of the discussion boards, and
  • Complete a draft action plan.

We hope that you’ll join us for our virtual workshop!
