Intersections of Geospatial and Information Literacy

What is geospatial literacy, and how is it connected to information literacy? Why do your students need geospatial literacy? How are geospatial literacy concepts applicable across different disciplines? In this workshop, participants will have a chance to learn more about geospatial literacy, explore the connections with information literacy and identify strategies and resources they can use to support the development of students’ geospatial literacy.
