GTA toolkit: Fair and efficient grading

 In this session, participants will learn grading techniques that provide appropriate and clear feedback to students and maintain fairness. They will also learn ways to be more efficient in grading.

After this workshop participants will be able to: 

  • Understand uses of a rubric in making their grading.
  • Learn how to provide various forms of feedback that can make their grading more effective and fair and help improve student learning.
  • Consider different approaches to assignment design.
