Each webinar will be interactive with opportunities to pose questions and then archived for future viewing. Presenters also have guest speakers to offer shared experiences and examples.
Like other universities the creation and dissemination of knowledge that is central to our mission is increasingly reliant on digital delivery and support making higher education particularly sensitive to the growing legal, social and ethical pressure to make our campuses accessible. This series provides a place to learn from experts, other colleges, and each other.
Around eleven percent of all college and university students in just the U.S. alone, have disabilities which adds up to more than 2.25 million students. This number does not include the staff, faculty, and visitors who rely on access.
This series will pin-point lessons learned, best practices, tools, and resources that, if incorporated, could help elevate campus inclusion.
Presenter: Scott Lissner, ADA Coordinator and 504Compliance Officer, Ohio State University
