The Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning (ITL) Instructional Redesign (IR) program awards eligible Ohio State instructors (0.75 FTE and above) with $1,150 to implement, assess and document evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.

This session introduces participants to the signature program and provides important program updates that have been carefully implemented in order to create a more effective and efficient IR experience. Whether planning to teach a new course for the first time or repeating a course taught for years, instructors can complete IR as early as Autumn ’21! Join us to learn more about IR.

Participants should review program eligibility requirements prior to the session by visiting our webpage dedicated to IR (https://drakeinstitute.osu.edu/instructional-support/instructional-redesign).

After this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Identify the steps required to successfully complete IR.
  • Locate and register for Institute programming designed to facilitate IR completion.
  • Select or design an appropriate IR “pathway” and approach to assessment.
  • Create an IR portfolio quickly and effectively.
  • Find and explore IR model portfolios.
