Join us for an open educational discussion with a panel of people with various disabilities talking about their needs and experiences when accessing health care and health care-related services. This event will be helpful to both students and professionals in better understanding:

  • Barriers experienced by disabled people when accessing health care
  • How to create more accessible environments on an individual and systemic basis

In this period of pandemic and health care crisis, the needs of disabled clients and patients are often overlooked, making this conversation even more important today. We warmly invite you to join us for this opportunity to engage in dialog with our knowledgeable disabled panelists, learn directly from their experiences, and develop a more holistic view of future patients/clients.

Registration for the workshop is free. Captioning services will be provided at the event. For more information about the event, please contact Evelyn Hoglund (hoglund.1@osu.edu)
