Margaret DiMaria

Since its inception in 2016, the Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning has worked tirelessly to support faculty and staff by offering educational opportunities, professional learning and innovative resources that increase positive student outcomes and enhance student learning. Margaret Murphy had the good fortune of being part of an educational opportunity in 2021; she co-led a Drake Institute Book Group ("Intentional Tech: Principles to Guide the Use of Educational Technology in College Teaching" by Derek Bruff) with Byron Roush (College of Social Work).

As the Instructional Design Coordinator at the College of Public Health and a staff member, she has the skills to help support the Drake Institute in their mission, specifically when it comes to helping individuals design and implement their online courses, adopt and learn new technologies, and apply effective online pedagogical theory.
