Kristine Browning, PhD, APRN-CNP, FAANP, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Nursing and the Assistant Dean for Graduate Clinical Programs in the College of Nursing. Dr. Browning is a proud alumni of The Ohio State University 3 times and also works as a nurse practitioner at The James Cancer Hospital in the Cancer Survivorship program. Since joining the College of Nursing in 2010, she has worked with the masters program students, teaching advanced physical assessment and health promotion as well as developing and teaching scholarly writing doctoral students. Dr. Browning has been a UITL Faculty Fit mentor and enjoys working with new faculty, introducing them to the rich and plentiful teaching supports that OSU has to offer.
Dr. Browning’s program of research includes the examination of underlying determinants of tobacco use in order to further understand tobacco use behavior and examining salient patient-related topics in cancer survivorship and supportive care. She was inducted as a Fellow in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2016.
