Chad Zipfel teaches both undergraduate and graduate level classes in Corporate Finance, International Finance, and Restructuring/Bankruptcy. He blends real-world application with latest financial theory, leveraging his past and present experience in industry. Course sizes range from 25 to >400, across a variety of delivery methods (100% case based, in person to 100% online, synchronous/asynchronous, etc). He is actively involved in STEP, Executive Education and Honors Finance programs.
An alumni of Fisher, he “came back home” after more than a decade of progressive finance leadership experience in the Corporate space and time spent as an adjunct professor. Now part-time, he sits on various Boards and leads his own consulting practice, specializing in Finance and Strategy transformations at small and mid-cap companies.
Chad has been the recipient of teaching awards while at The Ohio State University, including the Max M. Fisher Faculty Eminence Award (selected as the top faculty by graduating Seniors) and Faculty of the Year by various Fisher Student Organizations.
