Are you interested in completing the Drake Institute Instructional Redesign Program, but don’t quite know what it takes? Have you started your IR and now feel stress over the task of creating an IR portfolio that will pass review? Does the IR process feel overwhelming?

The Michael V. Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning is offering a series of IR Portfolio Writing Workshops to assist. The workshop series continues with IR Portfolio Writing Workshop IV – Assessment. This 75-minute workshop will provide participants in need of assistance in completing the assessment section of the IR portfolio with guidelines and tips to make the portfolio production process clear and efficient. In this workshop, participants will hear about what to include (and what not to include) in the Assessment section (Section 4) of the IR portfolio. In addition, the workshop reserves approximately 30 minutes for participants to engage in focused, independent writing with a Drake Institute representative available to give real-time feedback and guidance.

Upon completion of the workshop, it is expected that each participant will have a draft of their IR Portfolio Section 4 (Assessment) started and well on its way to eventual submission as part of their complete IR portfolio.
